The set consists of evergreen plants that seem frozen in time, regardless of the season. With this choice, I aimed to evoke the feeling of a moment under the sun that, while you are experiencing it, seems as if it could last forever. The warm stage lighting and the subtle yet ever-present elements of nature draw attention to what happens between the characters. As the actors remove their coats, floral, velvet, and brocade costumes are revealed; their bodies integrate into the timeless landscape and turn into part of the farewell, part of this moment. The entire set captures a moment suspended in time, much like the embrace shared when saying goodbye.
